Tim Patno, Vice President of Technology and Innovation, cares deeply about creating, manufacturing and commercializing medical device products with advanced automation and intelligence for improving people’s lives; applying common sense and an experienced and evolved technical knowledge base to all phases of product development, manufacturing and project management. Tim’s passion is evolving ideas into reality by assisting the engineers, technologists and scientists with the framework and organization for creating and building automation and intelligence into future medical device products for our clients.
Tim has worked in product development roles utilizing advanced technologies and methods for over 37 years. Product highlights in Tim’s career include a blood apheresis system commercially launched in 1996 and still separating and collecting purified blood cell products all over the world today. Within diagnostics, Tim led the development of one of the first syndromic capable molecular diagnostic testing systems, launched in 2006, and is also still in use today.
